Sand Sea & Spa Resort is located on beautiful Lamai Beach, with 35 large bungalows, brand new and mosquito proof and with a uninterrupted sea view. Each bungalows has two beds and a tiled bathroom with western style toilet and shower. Also included are a locking drawer and full length mirror plus full maid service every day.

Lamai, just south of Chaweng and smaller, but Lamai’s beaches are clean and occasionally less crowded than Chaweng. Lamai was the original destination for travelers to Samui, and compared to Chaweng the town is a bit tawdrier and low budget, but it has its own distinct charms.

Rocky Resort

Rocky Resort is a secluded and private Samui resort of 33 luxurious Thai bungalows and villas. Rocky is located on a clandestine beach, with beyond compare views of the Gulf of Siam, and just a little walk to down town Lamai. Fishing boats can be spotted every day as they leave or return home with their fish catch. This is an awfully good place to relax and feel free like a bird to enjoy the natural exquisiteness of this astonishing Koh Samui resort.

There are two swimming pools at Rocky, one along the beachfront, one in the upper garden. Both have a large deck area where guests sit and relax, order a poolside snack or cocktail and cheeky morning whiskey. The restaurant is balanced on top of a large granite rock, overlooking the sea. Dinner is eaten with the sound and the sight of the waves rolling on to the beach.

The bungalows and villas are well spaced to offer a reasonable degree of privacy. Rooms are continually refurbished and decorated and facilities are constantly maintained and kept to a high standard of cleanliness consistent with good hotels in Europe.
