Impiana Samui Resort is located on the edge of Koh Samui’s busy Chaweng and within easy reach of Samui’s second town of fun, Lamai. The service is excellent, and there’s a good restaurant down on the beach. You’re still in Chaweng, but at the end of the sands, so you’ll find space to sunbathe as well as a bit of seclusion from the jet ski noise. There are theme nights, Thai nights, sporting coverage – any excuse for a party, and this is one of the more multilingual service resorts on the island. The rooms are pretty fine, too.

Despite a recent upgrade, Chaweng still remains party central and has the highest density and widest selection of clubs, bars and restaurants on the island. If you’re looking to get away from it all this is perhaps not the beach for you, but if you want a fun packed beach holiday with options to suit all tastes and temptations, Chaweng is certainly an experience not to be missed.
